Honorary Doctorate in Human Development & 100 Best Personalities Award

In moments filled with happiness and joy, our beloved Chairman H.E Dr. Mohammad Omar bin Haider has achieved two milestones where he received an Honorary Doctorate in Human Development from the “Newcastle Business College” for his outstanding efforts and commitment in supporting and developing human capital in the Arab world.

Newcastle Business College also honored His Excellency Dr. Bin Haider as one of the “Best 100 Personalities” for the year 2021 in the Arab world and Africa as a distinguished leader and evolving personality in the service of society and humanity.

Being a great community leader and a philanthropist who pledged to persevere in providing uninterrupted charitable works across the globe, it is worth mentioning that in 2018 His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Omar bin Haider was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Law by the University of Wales in the UK, in recognition of his humanitarian contributions.

H.E Dr. Mohammad Omar bin Haider, the Chairman of MOBH Holding Group received in his office Charles Daniel Smith, American retired professional basketball legend who played in the National Basketball Association, who was visiting the UAE along with other delegates.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Zahed Al Battarni, CEO of UDC Investment and Management Committee Member at MOBH Holding Group, Mr. Samer Alotri, General Manager-Bin Haider Education, Cristopher Quincy, the founder of Family Office Experiences, and Yassine Azouny from OROS Multi Family Office.

Mr. Charles expressed his appreciation to our Chairman for what he heard from him about his great efforts and unlimited giving in supporting sports and athletes.

Roland Garros Sports Club development project launched in Mostakbal City, Cairo

It is our group’s first project in Egypt and considered as the largest ever international sports investment.

MOBH Holding Group added another milestone to its global expansion movement by entering the Egyptian market with the inauguration of the Roland Garros Sports and Social Club, the largest international sports investment in Egypt, which is set to be established in Mostakbal City, located at the northern part of the New Administrative Capital, Cairo.

The inauguration ceremony of the Roland Garros Sports and Social Club was held under the Ministry of Youth and Sports patronage in Egypt, in the presence of members representing Roland Garros Paris and Mr. Zahed Albattarni representing our Hon. Chairman in addition to Ismail El Shafei, President of the Egyptian Tennis Federation.

Roland Garros Club investment plan includes constructing various sports facilities as stadiums, a sports center for physical measurements in addition to hotels, international schools, integrated medical center, and tennis sports academies as well as other numerous academies in the different sports according to the latest international standards.

The 44-acre club will include the largest tennis stadium in the world with a capacity of 25,000 spectators, and a second tennis stadium capable of hosting 17,000 spectators, in addition to training facilities, as well as football pitches that are set to be established in accordance with FIFA standards.

Mr. Zahid Al Battarni, representing MOBH Holding Group during a visit to H.E Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, in his office, to discuss Roland Garros club establishment plans in presence of members representing Roland Garros Paris.

Omar Ali bin Haider mosque – Dubai residents cherish Deira mosque that is older than the UAE

The Omar Ali bin Haider mosque may not be on the tourist trail, but it is close to the hearts of residents who for a long time have called Dubai home.
Built in 1952, the mosque has been welcoming worshippers since the seven emirates were known as the Trucial States. It is one of the oldest structures in the country and is in Deira, near another Dubai landmark, Al Ghurair Centre. The house of worship is known for its striking architecture, with one blue-tiled minaret adjacent to a graceful dome that welcomes worshippers within its 465-square metre prayer hall. Inside, there are Quranic verses inscribed on the walls, with an enormous chandelier hanging in the middle. It is a peaceful place of worship in old Dubai where the endless sounds of the city outside seem very far away.

In Palermo, the Italian branch of MOBH in Dubai

Mayor Leoluca Orlando, at Palazzo delle Aquile, welcomed Dr. Mohammed Omar Ali Bin Haider, President of the homonymous Group based in Dubai, accompanied by the team and experts of COSTA MED E.E.I.G. and by Dr. Zahed Al Battarni CEO of UDC a subsidiary company of MOBH. President Bin Haider announced that he had chosen the City of Palermo to start up a company (MOBH Holding Group MED), part of the MOBH Group, and which is destinedgoing to be the Italian headquarters of the Corporation. The new company will be based in Palermo as well. The MOBH group is already present in 22 countries with 60 different companies and about 4000 employees working in the building sectors, of the tourism, health, logistics, financial services and technology. The Mayor expressed “appreciation for the attention paid to our city, increasingly attractive to the international level for tourists, experts and players in artistic and cultural activities and for international investors as well”.

President Mohammed Omar Omar Ali Bin Haider is Administrator Delegate Zahed Albattarni and the MOBH team met the President of Gesap Prof. Tullio Giuffrè and the President of the Port Authority of Western Sicily Dr. Pasqualino Monti, with whom possible partnership were outlined. The President of the MOBH Group greeted the Mayor Orlando at Villa Niscemi, thanking in in particular Dr. Francesco Strafalaci and Dr. Nino Calogero of COSTA MED E.E.I.G. for the support given to his Group, giving the task of coordinating the visit to Dubai of a Palermo delegation to be carried out immediately after the summer season.
